Cosmograph Daytona (White Gold and Diamonds)
Ref. 126589RBR
$93,500 · AED 343,400
Message on WhatsAppThe Daytona exists because Rolex's original 1960s chronograph could not sell itself on its own merits and needed Paul Newman's face and a lucky flip market to become the grail it is today. The gem-set white gold versions are a newer branch of that story, aimed less at racing drivers than at people who want the silhouette without ever touching a tachymetric bezel, and Rolex has been unusually willing to let diamonds replace that scale entirely.
This Rolex Cosmograph Daytona wears a 40mm white gold case with a white mother-of-pearl dial and a diamond-set bezel. Calibre 4131 inside, on an Oysterflex bracelet.
Fun fact: this reference was one of seven diamond-set Daytona variants Rolex introduced in a single wave at Watches and Wonders 2024, running the updated Calibre 4131, the first real architecture change to the Daytona's chronograph movement since the in-house 4130 debuted in 2000.
