It is the line's workhorse, no complications, just the octagonal bezel and tapisserie dial that turned a steel sports watch into the thing people queue for, recast here in gold on a strap rather than the signature integrated bracelet.
This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding wears a 41mm rose gold case with a black Grande Tapisserie dial. Calibre 4302 inside, on a black alligator strap with a rose gold folding clasp.
Fun fact: Calibre 4302 replaced AP's long-serving Calibre 3120 in 2019 and was the first Royal Oak Selfwinding movement to add hacking seconds and a quickset date, while also bumping the beat rate from 3Hz to 4Hz and the power reserve from 60 to 70 hours.
