Message on WhatsAppThe Nautilus is Gerald Genta's 1976 porthole, and the 5980 is the chronograph version, a flyback worked into the case without adding a millimetre of visual weight. In white gold on a denim strap it is the quietest way the reference has been offered.
This Patek Philippe Nautilus Flyback Chronograph wears a 40.5mm 18k white gold case with an embossed blue grey dial. Automatic CH 28-520 C inside.
Fun fact: A flyback resets and restarts the chronograph from a single push, a function built for pilots timing successive legs of a course. Patek combines the two chronograph counters into one register at six so the Nautilus dial keeps its symmetry.
