Celestial (Diamond Bezel)

Patek's Celestial line began with the reference 5102 in 2002, which took the Aiguille d'Or at that year's Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve. The 6102 enlarged the case to 44mm and added a date read off the outer rim by a centre hand. The 6103 and 6104 are the gem-set branches of that same family, the 6104 carrying a single row of baguettes.

This Patek Philippe Celestial wears a 44mm 18k rose gold case with a black sky chart turning under three superimposed sapphire discs. Calibre 240 LU CL C inside, on a black alligator strap.

Fun fact: the ellipse printed across the sky chart is not decoration. It frames the exact portion of the night sky visible from Geneva, so the display is calibrated to one latitude and one city rather than to the wearer.
