The Duomètre runs two independent gear trains from one balance, one for time, one for the complication, so neither steals the other’s energy. It is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s purest mechanical thesis.

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre wears a 40.5mm 18k rose gold case with a silver face. 381 keeps it running.

Fun fact: The Duomètre runs two barrels, one for the time and one for the complication, so using the chronograph never disturbs the rate. Jaeger-LeCoultre calls it Dual Wing and patented it in 2007.

Duomètre launched in 2007 on the Dual-Wing principle. Two separate barrels and gear trains, one for timekeeping and one for the complication, run independently under a single shared regulating organ, so running a complication never draws power away from timekeeping. The dial splits into two halves, each with its own power reserve indicator, and a sapphire caseback shows the twin trains. A compact, technically focused family rather than a broad range.
