Code 11.59 Selfwinding (Grey)

Code 11.59 launched in January 2019 in white and pink gold only, to a critical reception rough enough that AP spent the next few years reworking it (new dial guilloché, simplified hour markers, a relocated date window) before steel finally arrived in February 2023. This grey dial, paired with a deep blue inner bezel, is a later addition to that steel range, added in 2025 rather than part of the original launch.

This Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding wears a 41mm stainless steel case with a grey dial and a deep blue inner bezel. Calibre 4302 inside, on a textile-pattern rubber strap.

Fun fact: the embossed, ripple-like dial pattern used across the steel Code 11.59 range was developed with Yann von Kaenel, an independent guilloché specialist AP brought in specifically for the steel launch rather than using its own dial workshop.
